Day 1

Profile Setup

Create your Spot profile. Tell us your cuisine type, service style, team structure, and operational expectations. This is the foundation of every future match — the more honest and specific you are here, the better your results will be from day one.

Day 1–2

Onboarding Call

A 30-minute call with a member of our team. We walk you through the platform — how to post shifts, how to read ZingCards, how the rating system works, and what to expect from your first few matches. Questions welcome, shortcuts provided.

Day 2–3

First Shift Post

Post your first shift. Our team monitors the matching process and is available to support. We review your top candidate suggestions with you, help you read ZingCards, and make sure your first experience with the platform sets the right expectations.

Day 3+

You're Live

Start building your extended team. After each shift, rate your Teammates honestly. Those ratings contribute to the Zings ecosystem and make your next match even more accurate. As your Spot profile accumulates reviews from Teammates, your credibility as an employer grows too.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Before your call,

Getting these ready ahead of your onboarding call means we can get your profile live faster and get the matching algorithm pointed in the right direction from the start.

  • Business registration or proof of operation in Ontario
  • Menu or service description that communicates your concept clearly
  • Team size and structure — front of house, back of house, or both
  • Typical shift times and roles you most commonly need to fill
  • Any dress code, equipment requirements, or special expectations
  • A general sense of your busiest days and seasonal patterns

Platform Walkthrough

We screen-share the full platform with you — shift posting, ZingCard review, the matching interface, and the ratings dashboard. You'll know exactly where everything is before you're on your own.

Your First Match Strategy

We'll talk through your first shift post together and help you set the right parameters to surface the best available Teammates. Your first match sets the tone for everything that follows.

Ongoing Support

Your onboarding contact is available during your first month on the platform. Questions about a ZingCard, concerns about a match, or feedback on a shift — we're here while you're finding your footing.
