Everything you need to know about Zing — whether you're a restaurant or a hospitality worker.
A Spot is what we call a restaurant on Zing. Your Spot profile includes your cuisine type, service style, team culture, and expectations.
When you post a shift, Zing surfaces Teammates ranked by assessment scores, past performance, and fit. You see each Teammate's full ZingCard before offering the shift. They see your Spot profile before accepting.
A cluster is a group of similar restaurants that share a vetted talent pool — same service calibre, complementary cuisine types. Instead of each restaurant scrambling independently, 5 similar Spots share access to 20+ assessed workers.
The Spot pays Zing Inc. for each completed shift. Zing Inc. then pays the Teammate directly. Everything runs through the platform — no side deals, no confusion.
No. Zing is a two-sided platform. We provide the assessment, matching, and payment infrastructure — you and the Teammate make the choice together.

Your ZingCard is your portable hospitality profile — assessment scores across 6 dimensions, your Zings rating tier, shift history, and strengths.
Ratings compound with every shift. Consistent, strong performance moves you up the tiers: New → Active → Proven → Top → Elite.
